2. Service Description

Collecty provides international business-to-business (B2B) debt collection services. Our services include:

• Amicable debt recovery through professional negotiation
• Legal escalation and litigation support in 160+ countries
• Debtor investigation and asset tracing
• Case management and progress reporting

3. Pricing & Payment Terms

Our primary pricing model is success-based—you only pay when we recover your debt. Key terms:

4. Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information about the debt and debtor
• Supply supporting documentation (invoices, contracts, correspondence)
• Notify us immediately of any direct payments received from the debtor
• Respond promptly to our requests for information or authorization
• Refrain from contacting the debtor directly during active collection

All information shared during our engagement is treated as strictly confidential. We will not disclose client or debtor information to third parties except as necessary to perform our services (e.g., engaging local legal counsel), as required by law, or with your express written consent. Our confidentiality obligations survive the termination of services.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website—including text, graphics, logos, tools, and software—is the property of Collecty and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission. Tools like our Pathfinder quizzes are provided for informational purposes only.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service in question
• We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
• We are not responsible for actions or insolvency of third parties (debtors, courts)
• Website tools and content are provided "as is" without warranties

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the service agreement with 30 days' written notice. Upon termination, any fees for work completed remain due. If recovery occurs within 6 months of termination as a result of our efforts, our success fee remains payable. We reserve the right to suspend services for non-payment or breach of these terms.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes may be submitted to mediation. Litigation, if necessary, shall be conducted in the courts specified in the Governing Law section below.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes, unless otherwise agreed in writing for specific engagements.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
